Emily facilitates and coaches learning in the fields of Physical Activity, Behaviour Change and Yoga. She can be found leading and motivating others in a yoga studio, lecture hall, board room or in the great outdoors.

Yoga is more than the physical asanas

In fact, there are eight limbs in the realm of yoga, as describe in many ancient yoga texts, that come down to three general categories; meditation, ethics, and healthy living. But, the science is catching up and evidence shows mindful physical activity can:

  • reduce stress

  • relieve anxiety

  • help manage depression

  • decrease lower back pain

  • improve quality of life in those with chronic conditions or acute illnesses

  • stimulate brain function

  • help prevent heart disease

Learning more about yoga science and its integration into our life is my specialty - from teacher trainings to online courses it’s my passion to pass this knowledge on to you.
